Prepare access

Create a scoped Tailscale API credential suitable for reading device information.

Connect

  1. Open Settings → Connections → Tailscale.
  2. Enter the required tailnet and API information.
  3. Test and save.

  • Use the smallest available scope.
  • Rotate tokens periodically.
  • Do not publish private device addresses on public pages.
